DO THE DASH

This is an event organised by the Durham & Chester-le-Street School Sport Partnership to replace this year’s Durham Dash. There are 3 events:

400m running event
a speed bounce challenge and
a target throw

Sports at Home and at School

Here are some of the sports activities we have been enjoying recently - at home and at school:

Year 4 attended a multisports event and had a great time learning new athletic skills. 4.2.2020

Y1 had an adventurous time trying out all of the gymnastic equipment. 23.1.2020

At the Year 3 Multi-sports session, the children were able to learn different running techniques and had fun learning new dance routines. 16.12.2019

20 children from Years 5 & 6 took part in an Indoor Athletics Competition at Framwellgate School. It consisted of a number of field and running events. They did Finchale proud and only went and won the event. So they are off to the Finals on Wednesday 4th December. Good Luck team Finchale! 13/11/19

Some children from Year 4 and 5 took party in a Tag Rugby Festival. 21/10/19.

A group of children from Years 4-6 took part in the North Region Biathlon. Children did well in the different age categories. October 2019.

Year 3 participated in the Tri-Golf Festival. 25.9.19

Year 6 practised their Jiu Jitsu skills and Dance moves, at a Multi sports event. 6.9.19
