F has been very successful with his running recently; he achieved a half marathon!

Lewis achieved his Level 5 award for swimming.

J and C recieved an award and certificate at Waldridge Park Junior Football Club. Well done boys!

I took part in various swimming races and was very successful, winning a medal for every single race! I won 4 gold medals, a silver and a bronze. Well done, I! Excellent work!

Charlie, Dominic, Jack and Daniel took part in a football tournament with their team at Deerness Valley. They won the tournament and recieved the 1st place cup as a result. They also got medals. Well done boys!

Dylan and Chloe took part in the 57th Children's Cancer Run in Newcastle. Well done to you both!

We have started using TTRockstars to practise our times tables from Year 2 to Year 6. This week we awarded the top performing players in each year group. Well done to all! Rebecca has completed her Rookie Lifeguarding course to gain a bronze 3 badge. Well done, Rebecca!

Noah has gained a Blue Peter badge for his fabulous drawing of Edinburgh Zoo. Well done, Noah!

Emily sucessfully completed the Pitch Marathon around the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Well done, Emily!

M won another medal, this time a bronze at the British Jiu Jitsu Championships in Wolverhampton. Well done!

Silver at the National Judo championships in Derby.

B's first biathle event in Lancaster, May 2019. This involved a 400m run, transitioning into a 50m swim, finishing with another 400m run.

J and H from Year 3 attended the Chorister Experience at Durham Cathedral. They had a great time singing with the Cathedral Choir at Evensong, touring the Chorister School and playing the organ. The pictures show them with the choir in rehearsal and with their certificates at the end. Well done J and H!

Get Your Sparkle On Day 21/12/18

Well done to all, including our hard working School Council who organised a "Get Your Sparkle On " event to run alongside the Christmas Sing-a-long. They raised £191.47 for the NSPCC to protect and keep children safe. Thank you to all who dressed up and to all who donated to this very worthwhile cause .
