Homework Help
We took part in a brilliant egg hunt organised by the PTA. The Easter Bunny visited us and gave us all a treat. Thank you so much PTA and Easter Bunny!
We visited Low Newton Junction Nature Reserve as part of our Science work. We observed the changes we have seen since we last visited in the Autumn and we created a tally of the variety of living things we identified. We will analyse this data and see what this tells us about habitats in our local area.
We had a great Class Assembly today with the trombone and glockenspiel performances. Group, solo and duet work. Well Done Year 4!

We visited Durham Cathedral and learnt all about the Northern Saints, pilgrimage and why people visit Durham Cathedral today. We were really inquisitive, asking lots of great questions!
We have started our new DT topic today about Mechanical cars. Prototype 1 went really well and we had a lot of fun.
British Science Week 2025
Our enquiry question: Are big wheels or small wheels better on the Mars Rover?
We had really good discussions on our enquiry question with some great explanations and work produced. We even learned about the next generation of Mars Rover's wheels using nitinol.
We had a great session for Health and Fitness Day. We completed a game called Fitness Bingo. It was so much fun!

Our DT structures topic has been lots of fun. We discovered how to make strong structures and used sweets and cocktail sweets.
