Prehistoric Britain

Year 4 went back in time to learn all about the first people who lived in Britain. They enjoyed investigating some very, very, very old artefacts!

Ancient Egypt

 

 

This term Year 4 will learning all about Ancient Egypt. We've already begun exploring this wonderful world of hieroglyphics, mysterious tombs and fascinating gods and goddesses! Why not find out more by investigating these websites:

Mini Olympics 

It's only the first full week back in school but Year 4 have already been getting active demonstrating their sporting skills at Maiden Castle sports ground, alongside hundreds of other children from around the county. Activities included football, cricket, athletics and even cheerleading! All the children got stuck in and were a credit to our school, well done everyone!

Musical Mondays

This year all the children in Year 4 will developing their musical skills in a series of sessions led by a music specialist from the Music Service. We've already begun by learning some funky rhythms and entertaining songs and there's much more musical fun to come...

Egyptian Art 

Year 4 have been learning how to use watercolours to create an effective background for a silhouette picture inspired by Ancient Egypt. Look out for the finished products coming soon!
