Year 5 had great fun and lots of exercise attending the KS 2 Quicksticks Hockey Festival at Maiden Castle. They warmed up to music, were given lots of information about how to play hockey safely. They then enjoyed practising the skills of dribbling and pushing the ball before moving on to playing matches against other schools.

Well done to Megan in Y4 who was selected to compete in a Judo competition in Holland. She said "Although I did not get a medal, I was delighted just to be selected to go, I was the only girl in the squad of about 40 boys. I did very well and enjoyed the whole experience."
